Michael Karaman & Karaman Communications

Karaman Commuications was actually started in 1987 as The Phone Network.  At the time Michael Karaman started his company; he had little indication of becoming a leader in business telephone systems and computer networking systems in Fayetteville, NC and the surrounding areas.

Michael Karaman came to Fayetteville NC / Ft. Bragg in 1980 after graduating West Point with a degree in Electrical Engineering.  He resigned his commission in 1984 in order to become self-employed.  His knowledge of and long time interest in telecommunications led him to start his company, The Phone Network, initially as a provider of private pay phones.

In 1990 he was asked by Cellular One, then a leader in wireless phone systems to become an Authorized Agent.  The business expanded again in 1992 to fill the growing need for sales and servicing of business telephone systems and data systems.

DEVELOPING A BROADER RANGE OF TECHNOLOGY: The name changed in 2008 to Karaman Communications, Inc to better reflect the variety of services offered.  Karaman Communications is a premier provider of Panasonic Business Telephone Equipment. The company can work with almost every type of business phone system and is involved in all aspects of the communication and computer industry, utilizing VOIP and performing all tasks associated with cabling for voice and data systems.  Also, because of business relationships developed over years, if they can't do the job, they will refer you to someone who can.
